Bob was ordained as an elder in the OPC in 2021, though he has served in that role in previous churches as well. He is married to Patti, and together they have four married children and several grandchildren. Bob is currently employed at Best Metal Products in Grand Rapids, where he serves as president.
Bob brings an engineering-minded perspective to his work and leadership, along with a passion for seeing things done well and in good order. He and Patti have also been actively involved in gospel mission efforts around the world and have led Cedar’s annual home missions outreach to various parts of the U.S., serving in disaster relief alongside youth, families, and seniors from the church.
Outside of their work and ministry, Bob and Patti enjoy gardening and farming, spending time at their cabin up north, and riding together on their tandem bicycle.
